Your Auto Part Guy is a marketplace that connects you with junkyards, certified recyclers, and established auto parts retailers. When you purchase a part, it ships directly from the seller — not from a central warehouse.

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days of purchase
Standard ground delivery takes 3-7 business days depending on seller location and part size
You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships
Large items (engines, transmissions) may ship via freight carrier and require loading dock or liftgate delivery
Expedited shipping may be available — check with the individual seller
Shipping costs vary by part size, weight, and seller location. Costs are displayed before checkout. Small parts (alternators, starters) typically ship for $15-30. Larger components (engines, transmissions) may cost $100-300+ for freight.
Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, here's how returns work:
30-day return window: You have 30 days from delivery to return a part that is:
Defective — the part doesn't function as described
Damaged in shipping — the part arrived broken or damaged (photo documentation required)
Wrong part — the part doesn't match the listing description or doesn't fit your vehicle
How to initiate a return:
Contact the seller directly through your order confirmation email
The seller will provide a return shipping label at no cost for defective/damaged items
Refund timeline: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after the seller receives the returned part. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
Non-returnable items: Electrical components that have been installed and tested (unless defective), custom-cut or modified parts, and parts purchased as "for parts only" or "core" are not eligible for return.
Warranty
Used parts are sold as-is unless the listing specifically states a warranty. Condition ratings (Used-Excellent, Used-Good, Used-Fair) describe the part's current state but do not constitute a warranty.
Refurbished / Remanufactured parts carry a 90-day warranty from the seller. This covers defects in workmanship and premature failure under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, misuse, or normal wear.
To make a warranty claim: Contact the seller with your order number and a description of the issue. The seller will determine if the claim is covered and arrange a replacement or refund.
